A stunning sunset elopement at The Old Dairy Maleny


Some weddings feel like a dream from start to finish, and Lara and James’ day at The Old Dairy was exactly that. Set against the rolling Maleny hills, the entire celebration unfolded in the softest, golden light... the kind of sunset that feels almost unreal.

Lara carried a classic white bouquet featuring ranunculus, lisianthus, and delicate textural accents. The layers of soft, creamy petals paired perfectly with her minimalist gown and created such an elegant, modern look.

For the ceremony, we designed two full statement arrangements on clear plinths to frame the sweeping hinterland view. Filled with garden roses, dahlias, delphinium, and seasonal foliage, they created a sculptural, cloud-like moment without distracting from the scenery. As the sun dipped behind the hills, the florals caught the golden light in the most beautiful way.

It was a truly magical afternoon.

National ABIA Awards 2025 | Flaxton Gardens

Creating the florals for the National ABIA Awards 2025 was an incredible honour and an opportunity to design something bold, sculptural and truly memorable. Hosted at the stunning Flaxton Gardens in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, the event called for a design that felt refined, creative and celebratory.

We curated a modern palette of deep merlot, rich burgundy, earthy chocolate tones and vibrant greens, layered with reflective silver and chrome accents to create a refined disco-lux atmosphere. Contrast was central to the design, with lush reds set against moody foliage, strong structural lines balanced by soft botanical textures, and shimmering disco spheres woven through organic forms.

The floral installations featured cymbidium orchids, anthuriums, bells of Ireland, moss elements, tropical foliage and sculptural branches, creating movement and depth throughout the space. In the guest lounge area, tall asymmetrical arrangements framed the velvet seating, adding drama while remaining grounded and intentional.

The tablescape followed a minimalist approach, using clean vessels, single stems and sculptural silhouettes that complemented the awards setting without overpowering it. At the entry, a cluster of florals and disco spheres welcomed guests in a way that felt playful, polished and distinctly Lunaria Botanical.

Designing florals for the National ABIA Awards was a true highlight and a celebration of creativity, community and craftsmanship within the wedding industry.

Sarah and Andy | Maleny Country Estate Wedding

Sarah and Andy were married at the beautiful Maleny Country Estate, surrounded by rolling hinterland views and an atmosphere of understated elegance. Their wedding day embraced a refined, neutral palette, with florals designed to feel timeless, natural and softly sculptural.

The ceremony florals featured abundant white chrysanthemums, delicate tulips, seasonal blooms and flowing greenery. Each arrangement was intentionally designed to bring texture and movement while maintaining a clean, editorial aesthetic that complemented the natural surroundings. Sarah’s bouquet echoed this vision, with layered whites and gentle movement creating a romantic yet modern finish.

Reception styling followed the same considered approach, with minimal floral moments that enhanced the space without overwhelming it. The result was an intimate and elevated atmosphere that felt both relaxed and thoughtfully curated.

It was a pleasure to collaborate once again with Ellie from Sunshine Weddings, whose styling always brings a sense of balance and refinement to every space. The day was beautifully captured by Aesthete Film & Photo, preserving the quiet moments and emotional details that made Sarah and Andy’s wedding so special.

Christie and Georgie’s garden wedding at Montville Estate was a vibrant celebration of colour, connection and joy. Set beneath the towering trees of this Sunshine Coast Hinterland venue, their ceremony felt intimate, relaxed and full of life.

The floral design featured a bold, romantic palette of rich fuchsia tones, Christie’s favourite colour, layered with warm corals, soft blush and creamy whites. These expressive florals framed the ceremony beautifully, bringing warmth and personality to the natural surroundings while reflecting the love these two share.

Every detail was thoughtfully considered, creating a wedding day that felt both effortless and unforgettable. A true garden celebration, filled with colour, emotion and modern romance.
